Who We Are
The Collin County Homeless Coalition (CCHC), founded in 2004, is a community organization consisting of City Governments, School Districts, Collin College, Homeless Service Providers, Businesses, Advocates, and Faith Communities working together to provide solutions to homelessness in Collin County through:

Increasing Awareness of Homelessness

Coordinating Advocacy for the Homeless Issue

Facilitating Information

Empowering Collaborative Programs and Services
The Collin County Homeless Coalition :

Provides training and implements the Annual Point-in-Time Count in the major cities of the County,

Produces an Annual Point-in-Time Count Report,

Plans and Implements Activities promoting the Annual Homeless Awareness Week in November,

Facilitates information to members, the public, and clients,

Facilitates collaboration opportunities between all segments of the coalition.

Partners with MDHA to operate the Continuum of Care Grant.
The CCHC is governed by a leadership team with members representing the sectors of the community noted above. Collin County is located in the TX-600 - Dallas City & County/Irving Continuum of Care (CoC) which is a regional or local planning body that coordinates housing and services funding for homeless families and individuals.
The CCHC works closely with Metro Dallas Homeless Alliance (MDHA), who is the lead agency for our region's CoC.
