Collin County Homeless Coalition
A Coalition for Sustainable Solutions
Annually, the Metro Dallas Homeless Alliance (MDHA) completes a consolidated application to the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). Included in the application are local project applications from homeless service providers within Collin and Dallas County.
The Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) requires each Continuum, including MDHA, to offer a local competition to review, rank and approve project applicants from eligible agencies. The application process consists of the completion of a local narrative application, project application(s) completion in eSNAPS, and a review of each project application by the Performance Review and Allocations Committee (PRAC).
The full application (narrative and eSNAPS) is {as announced by MDHA Last Spring/Summer}.
Priority will be given to applications that demonstrate the ability to meet the Continuum’s priorities of Rapid Rehousing, Emergency Sheltering, Street Outreach and Supportive Services.
An emphasis is being placed on increasing assistance to Collin County. HUD grants emphasize housing.
