The Family Promise network is a national nonprofit organization with over 200 affiliates established on the belief that people are compassionate and want to make a difference. Jim Riley Outreach

Jim Riley Outreach operates two transitional living homes in Collin County: Blake’s House (for Women) and His House (for Men). Our transitional living homes serve young adults aged 18-25 who have aged out of foster care, or who are homeless and without critical support. We provide a warm living environment, equip residents with life skills, foster educational and career advancement, and build a network of support around them through mentors and individual coaching.

TEXAS MUSLIM WOMEN'S FOUNDATION

Texas Muslim Women’s Foundation (TMWF) empowers, promotes and supports all women and their families—a mission that ultimately creates stronger communities. TMWF offers a diverse scope of programs which promote peaceful homes, families, and communities. Our Social Services and Family Violence programming is trauma informed, culturally sensitive and provides safe shelter, housing and comprehensive supportive services for all victims and survivors of domestic violence and their families. While TMWF is specially equipped to serve the culturally specific needs of Muslim women and their families, the organization is an equal opportunity service provider open to all victims and survivors of domestic violence.

Allen - ALL COMMUNITY OUTREACH

All Community Outreach (ACO) provides free comprehensive human services to help families avoid hunger and homelessness and gain financial security. ACO offers residents of Allen and surrounding communities income support such as food, clothing, and assistance with housing, medical visits, prescriptions, and mental health counseling; as well as education and employment services, including GED prep. classes, college assistance, financial coaching, and career counseling.

Frisco - FRISCO FAMILY SERVICES

Frisco Family Services provides services to individuals and families who live in Frisco or Frisco ISD, who are experiencing a financial crisis, such as job loss, divorce, death to name a few. Some of these services include emergency financial assistance, food, clothing, household goods, life skills classes, back to school supplies, Thanksgiving meal boxes and Holiday gifts.

Community Lifeline Center assists local residents in times of crisis, to help them navigate their way back to self-sufficiency and avoid homelessness. The assistance we provide ranges from financial help—rent, utilities, medical, dental or prescription assistance—to information/referral and advocacy, while our client-choice Lifeline Food Market helps our clients put food on the table.

The Assistance Center of Collin County brings carefully qualified and prompt short-term assistance to individuals and families in financial crisis to help them regain self-sufficiency. FBC Wylie assists local residents during a crisis to individuals and families to get them to a place of stability. We provide short-term financial assistance with rent, utilities, food, and emergency shelter. We work to address each need to connect people with the needed resources and walk alongside to bring emotional and spiritual support. We also provide free lunches and a food box for the weekend for families in the community.

We sponsor www.JustServe.org, a free community service that matches volunteers with opportunities to assist humanitarian and community organizations. Many of the Collin County Homeless Coalition [CCHC] service providers and the CCHC post volunteer needs on JustServe so volunteers from our membership and others in the community are made aware of their needs and can volunteer to assist. We also sponsor self reliance and other support programs that assist the homeless population.

CITY OF FRISCO

The City of Frisco is a growing community with residents in both Collin and Denton counties. The City, a HUD entitlement community, makes funds available for social services that benefit residents of the City of Frisco through the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and the Social Service Grant. These funds are awarded by the Social Service and Housing Board and City Council through an annual application process.

St. Andrew’s Hands & Feet Outreach Ministry enables believers to live sacramentally, seeking and serving Christ in all people. One such initiatives is the BlessMobile, whose mission is to build relationships rooted in the Gospel in areas of our mission field where food insecurity and poverty are prevalent, and to provide food and life-giving services to those in our community who are most in need.

THE VILLAGE CHURCH PLANO

The Village Church Plano mercy ministry team's mission is to alleviate poverty through empowering the materially poor to move closer to image-bearing: living in right relationship with God and others. Our assistance takes on a variety of forms, as the purpose of our ministry is to walk alongside individuals/families in a way that is truly helpful.
