Who We Are
The Collin County Homeless Coalition (CCHC), was originally founded in 2004 as a community organization in response to homelessness in Collin County.
In 2017, the Collin County Homeless Coalition became a 501(C)3 whose members consist of city governments, Collin College and the ISDs, non-profits and service providers, faith organizations, businesses and corporations, health care agencies, protective services, and community working together to provide solutions to homelessness in Collin County through:

Collin County Homeless Coalition is a 501(c)3 organization with a mission to address homelessness and affordable and safe housing for all our neighbors.
The CCHC is governed by a leadership team with members representing the diverse sectors of our community.
Collin County is located in the TX-600 Continuum of Care (CoC) which is a regional or local planning body that coordinates housing and services funding for homeless families and individuals.
The Collin County Homeless Coalition:

Promotes collaborations and partnerships among government, non-profit, faith-based, educational, health care, business & corporations, and community toward solutions to homelessness in Collin County.

Supports the facilitation and training, by the cities, of the Annual Point-in-Time Count.

Produces an Annual Point-in-Time Count Report.

Plans and promotes awareness programs during the Annual Homeless Awareness Week in November.

Facilitates partnerships, referrals, and information to members, the public, and community.

Serves as a center for networking, innovative ideas, and for the development of creative partnerships.

Hosts the Conference on Homelessness in Collin County.
